Pink Zebra & Polka Dots

Zebra print must be "in" right now! We did 3 cakes with zebra print in April (this one, the monkey cake, and the brightly colored sweet 16 cake).

This cake was iced in buttercream and decorated with fondant dots, circles, and zebra stripes. It was topped with a gum paste "Happy Birthday" spray and white ribbon roses.

OK I so want to know where you went to get started learning how to work with cakes. When my children were small I did some on the side. After 15 years as a teacher budget cuts got my job and so at 50 i'm like well why not do something you love. So would you email me with information where I can go to learn how to. Creativity is not an issue for me just the know how. Thanks so much droberts617@hotmail.com

I highly recommend Wilton Method classes for anyone looking to get into cake decorating. In fact, they just revamped their whole curriculum so it's AWESOME now! They're taught at some Michael's, Hobby Lobby, and and JoAnn's stores across the nation.
